FROM CONTENT TO NARRATIVE: a study of ‘Pública’ - Reporting Agency and Investigative Journalism

Abstract

The public has several features that enhance its potential for research object: the production of investigative journalism in the online environment, with feature Agency and republication, financed publicly and collectively. The aim is to recognize the various forms of narrative structure the contents of the reports made by the public. The specific objectives are presented investigative reporting mechanisms evidenced in the texts of reports such as location, authorship and sources - investigative clues as narrative strategy of the Agency's reports - and the indication multimediatic tools that assist in the narrative composition. In addition, the are studied characteristics that specify primarily focused on data reports and on human interest. Discusses the relationship between the techniques for data exposure and to humanize the account used by the public for the purpose of understanding the effort of this likelihood the narrative of these reports.

Pós-doutor em Jornalismo pela Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG). Doutor em Sociologia Política pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) com estágio sanduíche no Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa. Mestre em Jornalismo pela UFSC e graduado em Jornalismo pela UEPG. Professor da Pós-Graduação (Mestrado) e do Departamento de Jornalismo da Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG).
