Résumé

Objetivo: analisar a relação entre o isolamento social, a solidão e o FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) e o teletrabalho. Método: estudo qualitativo, com entrevistas semiestruturadas, realizadas com 12 líderes que atuam em organizações de diversos segmentos e tamanhos, para compreender o isolamento social, o FoMO e solidão de teletrabalhadores. Para análise dos resultados, optou-se pela análise de conteúdo, com agrupamentos das respostas em sete categorias temáticas: percepção dos teletrabalhadores referente ao FoMO, solidão e isolamento social; apoio, intervenções e consequências do FoMO, da solidão e do isolamento social no teletrabalho; e, interação dos teletrabalhadores nas mídias sociais. Resultados: A percepção dos teletrabalhadores referente ao isolamento social confirma as pesquisas que evidenciam que o trabalho remoto muda completamente as interações sociais, e pode aumentar seu sentimento de solidão e o seu medo de ser esquecido numa promoção. Conclusões: Trabalho híbrido, reuniões e encontros presenciais, e o uso consciente de redes são caminhos que podem ajudar no gerenciamento da falta de interação face a face e dos contatos informais dos teletrabalhadores, da solidão e de sentimentos de isolamento social. Por fim, a pesquisa sugere estudos futuros, e apresenta proposições para minimizar estes pontos negativos identificados.
