Resumen

This article aims to approach the problem of diagnosis in a broader perspective, trying to look in terms of clinical, epistemic, ethical and political issues from the last teaching of Lacan on psychoanalytic theory, especially concerning forms of subjugation for clinical structures. These issues are considered in five points: general clinical question of diagnosis; the foundations of diagnosis in psychoanalysis; the structuralist perspective on the diagnosis; integration of criticism of structuralism; the place of the consideration of the symptom. Finally, it ends with an exchange about politic issues, for today and the near future, on the emission of the diagnostic, including its effects of segregation and exclusion.
