Qualidade do sono e procrastinação no trabalho: o papel da dependência de smartphone/internet e da saúde mental

O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar as relações entre a qualidade do sono, a procrastinação no trabalho, a dependência de smartphone e internet e a saúde mental. Participaram 201 trabalhadores de ambos os sexos e com idades entre 18 e 44 anos (M=25,5; DP=5,47). Para a coleta de dados foi utilizado um questionário sociodemográfico e os seguintes instrumentos: Escala de Uso Compulsivo da Internet (CIUS), Escala de Dependência de Smartphone (EDS), Índice de Qualidade do Sono de Pittsburg (PSQI), Escala de Procrastinação no Trabalho (PAWS) e Questionário de Saúde Geral (QSG-28). Os dados foram analisados através dos softwares SPSS e JASP. Verificou-se que a má qualidade de sono esteve positivamente correlacionada à procrastinação no trabalho, à dependência de smartphone e de internet e aos fatores da saúde mental (i.e., estresse psicológico, disfunção social e depressão grave). Ademais, observou-se que a dependência da internet atou como variável mediadora significativa da relação entre a qualidade do sono e a procrastinação no trabalho. Considera-se que os objetivos do estudo foram alcançados, contribuindo para ampliação acerca da temática e possibilitando futuros estudos.
