Resumo

Es inmensamente gratificante encontrarse con investigadores con inquietudes centradas en nuestra diversidad latinoamericana, con énfasis en nuestras raíces y herencia de pueblos originarios, ya sea de las selvas, de las regiones andinas, de los pueblos de la diáspora africana y de otras regiones del mundo que se han agregado en América Latina. Además de buscar la comprensión de los movimientos de construcción de la identidad, establecen otros canales de comunicación destinados a formar lazos más fuertes de solidaridad y un mayor compromiso con las luchas comunes por la comunicación democrática y la defensa de los derechos humanos. Los estudios proponen la convergencia de áreas, invitan a las perspectivas de organización de nuevas formas de intercambio y difusión de conocimientos que respeten la multirreferencialidad de las comunidades de práctica e información.

Francisco Gilson Rebouças Porto Junior, Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT)

Francisco Gilson Rebouças Pôrto Júnior é doutor em Comunicação e Cultura Contemporâneas pela Faculdade de Comunicação da Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), mestre em Educação pela Faculdade de Educação (UnB) e graduado em Comunicação Social/Jornalismo (ULBRA) e Pedagogia (UnB). Atualmente é líder do Núcleo de Pesquisa e Extensão e Grupo Lattes Observatório de Pesquisas Aplicadas ao Jornalismo e ao Ensino (OPAJE-UFT). É professor na Fundação Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT). Coordena pesquisas em ensino de jornalismo digital e preservação da Memória. Pesquisa sobre formação, ensino e processos educativos no Brasil, na União Europeia, CPLP/PALOPS e BRICS. E-mail: gilsonporto@uft.edu.br.
