This article presents reflections on the process of integrating Mathematics teacher trainees into the school context. The research question is: What meanings were produced by the trainees in relation to the actions carried out during their participation in PIBID? The aim is to present reflections on the meanings that the participants produced in relation to the formative moments of the PIBID subproject - Mathematics Teacher Training - at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) and the Federal University of Northern Tocantins (UFNT). This is a field-based qualitative research. We used a questionnaire with six open-ended questions as an information production tool (data collection), and it was answered by 34 participants using the digital tool Google Form. We established the following analytical axis: Cycle of formative moments in the initial training of Mathematics teachers within the scope of PIBID. To interpret the information, we conducted a descriptive, interpretive, and analytical analysis of the questionnaire responses. The results indicate that the integration of the participants into the school context was conducted systematically and reflectively, as a process of integration and professional and personal development, contributing to the formation of a professional identity specific to teaching in basic education.
