The sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) is an important oilseed crop in Brazil, due to its adaptability to different climatic conditions. To maintain high production rates, adequate soil and water management is essential. The use of magnetized water is considered to improve agricultural yield and quality. This study aims to understand the influence on cv. BRS 323 with the interaction between fractionated water in the soil and water replacement with magnetized water. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the Instituto Federal do Norte de Minas Gerais - Arinos Campus between April and July 2022. The experimental design was randomized blocks in a factorial arrangement, with factor A being: 4 water replacements (100, 75, 50 and 25% - HR); o factor B: 2 types of irrigation water (supply water and magnetized water). The variables evaluated included germination percentage, emergence speed, number of achenes, mass of 100 achenes and total dry mass. To magnetize the water, a magnetizer was used. The results indicated that the germination percentage (PG) was not affected by water replacement (RH) or the type of water, due to the predominant use of energy reserves by the seeds during germination. The sunflower does not require total water replacement (100% ) for optimal development. Magnetized water negatively affected the total dry mass, possibly due to the increase in electrical conductivity, influencing soil salinization.
