The present essay aims to identify how the sexual politics of meat stigmatize female bodies dominated by the context of the institutionalized cannibalism as seen in Tender is the Flesh (2022) by Agustina Bazterrica. As theoretical foundation, regarding commodity fetishism, we based our analysis on the research of Marx (2017); and Adams’ (2018) sexual politics of meat, theory which the author correlates animal’s protein diet and the dominant patriarchal structure. As results, we present the control methods against the female bodies as seen in the selected work, created by the slaughterhouse to maintain its power upon that specific female productive strength. As conclusions, we point that women are the main victims of the cannibalistic context, because they (re)produce numerous by-products, from blood to other non-human entities to be consumed, and they are themselves treated as products, so deeply subjugated that they are considered as inferior meat after many pregnancy cycles.
