OVERVIEW OF BRAZILIAN RADIOAMARISM IN CURRENT: A participant study

Abstract

Amateur radio is presently a hobby. In Brazil about 30,000 people are inserted as users, who participate in comunity activities  around the world during the year. What is this? How it is worked nowadays? What are the activities developed? This essay has been constructed from a participant research made through one year of observations, that has the aim to construct a profile of ham radio in Brazil, observing realities and some perspectives. This way, observes that existis live beyound the internet and many practicies in digital communications universally used have been made by enthusiastics in technology and informal experiments.
