Cenário da produção científica internacional sobre burnout e presenteísmo no ambiente de trabalho: uma revisão sistemática de literatura

Résumé

Considerações centradas nos fenômenos e nas doenças ocupacionais ganham cada vez mais relevância no contexto organizacional, especialmente pelos resultados apontados para a saúde dos trabalhadores. À vista disso, este estudo tem como objetivo apresentar o cenário internacional da produção acadêmica relativo a estudos que consideraram burnout e presenteísmo no ambiente de trabalho. Para atingir o objetivo proposto, realizou-se uma Revisão Sistemática de Literatura (RSL), com a busca e extração de dados nas bases Web of Science (WoS) e Scopus. Inicialmente, foram selecionados 247 estudos. Após a leitura dos títulos e resumos, 63 estudos foram selecionados por apresentarem aderência às temáticas abordadas. Os principais resultados mostraram que, nos últimos quatro anos (2019-2022), houve um aumento significativo nas pesquisas sobre burnout e presenteísmo, sobretudo em relação aos profissionais da área da saúde, com predominância de estudos quantitativos. Algumas pesquisas indicaram o burnout como um fator preditor do presenteísmo, enquanto outras destacaram a reciprocidade desses construtos. Embora existam pesquisas sobre essas temáticas, ainda há uma lacuna considerável para o avanço do conhecimento, que é discutida ao longo do estudo.
