The social pressure of the education worker has grown progressively and the need to demonstrate a good development in their work in line with the working conditions, result in psychological, physical and emotional wear and tear. This research, developed with the support of the Scientific Initiation Program of the Estácio de Sá University, aimed to verify the relationship between teachers' work process and the conditions under which it develops, in order to verify its connection with the emergence of mental suffering of the professors of the undergraduate course in psychology of the Nova Iguaçu campus of the mentioned University.
