Abstract

The construction and testing of prototypes of data acquisition systems developed in 2015 as part of the scientific initiation project: Development of data acquisition systems using the Arduino Uno board and NI-Labview software is reported. The project focused on the integration of two powerful platforms for the development and control of hardware and software systems, the Arduino Open Source Electronic Prototyping System and the Labview Systems Development Graphical Environment. This integration allowed the construction of data acquisition systems to be used in the activities of the Laboratory of Materials Research for Applications in Electronic Devices (Labmade) of the Araguaína UFT Campus, a very complex situation before the emergence of the Arduino open access system, when the development of data acquisition systems was dominated by the industry of proprietary systems. Labmade provided the necessary hardware/software devices, tools, computers, and proprietary NI-Labview 2010 software. The developed systems enables simultaneous serial acquisition of analog information of up to six physical quantities through electronic sensors, convert the signals to information that is finally stored as a database and shown continuously on the display of a computer.
