Abstract

The objective is to present the construction and validate the Logical Model of the Permanent Education Program in Mental Health in the state of Ceará, developed from 2020 to 2022. This is qualitative evaluative research. Logical and Strategic analyzes were used in order to determine the coherence between the program's objectives and the demands to be resolved by it. To develop the model, a literature review was carried out on the research topic, collection and analysis of program information through documents and projects from the courses taken. For assembly and validation, semi-structured interviews were carried out with professionals involved in planning the courses. All courses used lectures, audiovisual resources and case studies. The Specialization used other resources such as dynamics, group discussion and practical in-service activities. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic period, the courses were held remotely and/or remotely. The articulation between services allows the exchange of knowledge, experiences and multiple fields of action in health. However, educational actions for mental health work are still scarce and discontinuous, or are focused on certain groups of professionals.
