Abstract

Zoology teaching covers animal groups, looking at their morphology and physiology, as well as their interactions in ecosystems. Among these animals, invertebrates have the greatest diversity of species. With its extensive and complex content, students find it difficult to learn, mainly due to the lack of methodologies that can attract and motivate them to take an interest in the subject and better assimilate the content. So, in order to make learning about invertebrates more engaging, we sought to produce an informative, inclusive and accessible biology booklet for all students, aimed especially at the study of Invertebrate Zoology in basic education.  Using the "Canva" design tool, a booklet was created with sections on "What are they?", "Habitat and Food", "Morphology" and "Reproduction". The material contains 18 pages covering eight invertebrate phyla, including a word search and questions to encourage active student participation. The material is available in PDF and audiobook format, allowing for the inclusion of visually impaired students. The use of this material aims to make up for the lack of specific and adapted teaching materials, helping teachers in their pedagogical practices and promoting a more inclusive and efficient learning environment.
