Abstract

The study, through scientometric research, with a qualitative-quantitative approach, aims to characterize and analyze strictu sensu and lato sensu academic products of research involving mathematics and interdisciplinarity in the initial years of Elementary Education, linked to Basic Education. Therefore, choose the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations to search for the data. It constituted the Corpus of Analysis, 17 Academic Products, Compounds for Dissertations and Teeses, in the period between 2012 and 2022. The Scientist Study Revealed a Greater Number of Academic Products selected in the year 2019, which claim a predominant profile made by a public institute, and concentrated in the southern region of the country. It was found that the focus of production is related to four categories: teacher training; teaching methodologies; academic studies or review studies; and endorsement of educational books. The analysis of two 17 works, triggering reflections on the Interdisciplinary work carried out in the initial years, focused on Mathematics Teaching, showed that there is a certain resistance to the development of interdisciplinary work, leading to reflection on how much or what still needs to be done. under study. And, despite the investigations in the Teacher Training category, they have been more present, once again, leading to reflection on the need to rethink and update the teacher training curriculum, which includes more proposals in this regard. The research carried out alerts us to how much this topic still needs to be studied and deserves special attention in teacher training courses.
