Abstract

In the recent history of world society, the pandemic caused by coronavirus has been one of the greatest challenges of the last decade. Social isolation abruptly interrupted daily activities, especially in educational institutions. During this situation, the activities of the Pedagogical Residency Program throughout the national territory begin. This study presents an experience report developed by the RP of the Course in Biological Sciences of UFT, campus of Porto Nacional. The activities were organized in three semiannual modules and held in virtual and presential meetings based on individual studies, thematic seminars, exchange of experiences and didactic experience. The program sought a critical-reflexive training of residents and preceptors, making them able to face the challenges of teaching supported by multidimensional development. Throughout its trajectory, the RP promoted the autonomy and creativity of residents, based on moments of reflection and debate on the formation of teacher identity and in contemporary methodologies strategies for the teaching of Sciences and Biology. The pedagogical trajectory of the PR stimulated the development of complex skills to overcome traditional learning paradigms by making them experience the duties and dilemmas of the profession, especially in the face of the unfavorable situation caused by the pandemic.
