Abstract

ABSTRACT

The present work sought to discuss the use of management indicators in Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) of the clothing trade in Seridó/RN and other regions that participated in the program for the development of innovation and productivity, the Brasil Mais. The results were obtained through diagnosis at in two different moments, via a questionnaire, a radar that expresses the company's maturity in 6 dimensions applied in 11 companies. In this context, exploratory observational research reinforces the relevance of using mechanisms to support business administration with a focus on strategic management to improve business results and sustainability. Research proceeds demonstrate progress in the use of indicators of when the first radar was applied, as well as data that retailing companies have not been attentive to analyze. In a conclusive manner, it shows that there was a positive evolution, as well as that part of the sample still has gaps in strategic management by indicators.
