Abstract

This work aims to develop a Didactic Sequence for the study of Ellipsoid using the Winplot Software. The pedagogical intervention was based on the pedagogical ideas and principles of the constructivist conception that consider the active role of the subject and the environment and has the learning process as a priority. As a didactic resource, we chose to use the Winplot, a freely accessible software for the study of graphical functions. It is considered that the elaborated didactic sequence can be an alternative to escape the traditional teaching model and contribute to improving the quality of the teaching and learning process of this content, by offering favorable conditions for the construction of knowledge in an autonomous and conscious way, on the part of the student, taking into account their prior knowledge and respecting diversity
