Abstract

This article proposes reflections about the constitution of the polyamorous way of life in relation to the emerging economic dynamics based on the sharing of goods, experiences and services. From bibliographic research and participant observation carried out in the Amor Vivo Book Club group, there was consonance between the economic and affective spheres in three aspects: valuing access (use) to the detriment of possession; promotion of abundance according to the circulation of goods and resource management (time and feeling). Polyamory is a critical way of life for traditional capitalism and compulsory monogamy as its corresponding arrangement. By supporting values such as freedom, autonomy and authenticity, the possibility of questioning their virtuality emerges as an equivalent socio-affective arrangement of neoliberal societies.
