The objective of this research is to present the BPMN Sketch Miner tool as an alternative to home office as well as its usability. For that, a study on process modeling was carried out. The BPMN Sketch Miner tool is software for modeling business processes using the BPMN notation. It was developed to be used by users without deep knowledge in BPMN and allows the creation of process models quickly and intuitively from natural language. From the usability study, the four Nielsen heuristics were selected to evaluate the usability of the BPMN Sketch Miner tool. Finally, based on the responses acquired, it is noticeable that the tool may be suitable for use in a home office, as it presents clear results based on the responses of Nielsen’s heuristics that the tool is suitable for use
