In dealing with obedience and banality of the evil in Hanna Arendt we try to discuss the statute of the obedience and put this examination via reflection. Thus, we understand that obedience without reflection can be a counter value capable to promoting the evil. In that direction, resistance via reflection and action can serve as barriers to prevent this evil. We have elected the figure of the rebel pariah as an exemplary paradigm of resistance via what we call an ethical disobedience that deals with responsibility for the world. We chose as methodology the textual exegesis already established in the philosophy studies.
