The theme “predicate in the subject” (praedicatum inest subjecto) constitutes an important foundation in Leibniz’s philosophy, insofar as this notion organizes, from a logical point of view, several issues of leibnizian philosophy, such as logic, language, epistemology and metaphysics. In this paper, we will deal with this notion from a metaphysical reading of the substance in Leibniz, which seeks to give as much reality as possible to beings created by God. Being, in the dimension of the subject and its qualities. Thus, are not only the result of the divine decree, but are presented to the world in a rational configuration, which at the same time guarantees and, on its ontology, its identity and its difference. Our investigation takes the reading of the praedicatum inest subjecto on this path
