SOMENTE POLICIAIS SÃO HOMENS: ordem pública, violências heteronormativas e seus reflexos na série The Wire

El artículo ofrece un análisis de marcos aplicado a los medios de comunicación, con el objetivo de presentar los encuadres centrales sobre los que se imagina la labor policial de las mujeres. Para ello, se utiliza como sujeto de estudio a la investigadora Shakima Greggs, detective y protagonista de la serie de televisión The Wire. El estudio concluye que el personaje refleja un imaginario social arraigado también fuera de la ficción que obliga a las mujeres policías a “comportarse como hombres” para ser respetadas, y que vincula la homosexualidad a una inversión genérica.
