The article explores the processes of multimodal discursive construction of the image of Cristina F. de Kirchner in the covers of Revista Noticias. Throughout the text it is analyzed how those meanings linked to the common places and the generic hegemonic representations and identities are constructed and (re)produced. It can be observed in the conclusions how the Semiotic processes of sexualization and objectification that nullify the woman as subject and, therefore as a political actor, are updated in the News Magazine.
