LOS SENTIDOS DEL TRABAJO PARA AGENTES COMUNITARIOS DE SALUD

Resumen

Workers from the twentieth-first century face a labor-context full of uncertainties and instabilities derived from the current capitalist system, which is characterized as a social ruler that oppresses and compromises the labor relations. For this purpose, this study aims to comprehend the meaning of work for community-health agents (CHAs) that work within public health, more specifically at one Basic Health Unit, located in state hinterland, as well as the effects/impact of their daily work routine over their health. The study was adequate to a research-action using the theoretical perspectives oflabor psychodynamics, unveiling a space for collective listening and discussion with the workers in their labor environment. For the assessment of the data It was used the content analysis, which originated the following category: The meaning of work. dialectics of suffering and pleasure. The research showed that the ACSs have been denied the practice of creative capacity and identity, what causes a pathogenic suffering. Thus, it was concluded that it is urgent to open potential spaces for conviviality, where cooperation and subjective mobilization resonates with the health-team.
