Abstract

With technological advancement, the volume of data and information has experienced exponential growth, complicating its analysis. Data visualization, whether through graphs or other graphic representations, is crucial to highlight data characteristics and elucidate relationships between different themes. In this context, the present study examines the use of Tableau and Power BI tools for data visualization over the past decade. Through a bibliographic survey and a systematic review, complemented by Bardin's Content Analysis with the support of the Iramuteq software, this research aims to map the state of the art in the field of data visualization within Information Science and related disciplines. The expected results include a detailed overview of current data visualization tools, their predominant uses, and projections for future developments in the field.
