Introduction: Sexual education strategies for adolescents in Latin America are essential to ensure the health, well-being and full development of young people. It is important to invest in public policies that support and strengthen these strategies, thus ensuring the promotion of sexual and reproductive health for adolescents in the region. Objective: In this sense, the present study seeks to map sex education strategies for adolescents in Latin America. Method: This is a scoping review, which will be conducted based on the methodological structure developed by JBI and the checklist Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta Analyzes extension for Scoping Reviews. This will include searching databases and gray literature. The articles will be evaluated in pairs and independently by two reviewers. For selection and screening of studies, the Rayyan® reference manager will be used. The synthesis of the data will occur through a table and discussion in thematic categories.
