Abstract

The article challenges the relations between State and Society from the perspective of contemporary political theory and praxis. The formation of the State is identified from a circumstantial existential point in the Global South: (DUSSEL, 1977, 1986, 1993, 2007), (MIGNOLO, 2014) and (SANTOS; MENEZES, 2009). Applying the analetical method and attentive to the technological and communicational transformations of Transmodernity, the reflection presents the assumptions of free software and the Ubuntu platform as a possible mediating environment. The article is aligned with the need to develop new cyber-political arrangements that contain substance: ecological, collaborative, inclusive and "self-management".
