Abstract

This essayist article intends to discuss the importance of the Protestant Reformation for the formation of a historian. With a proposal of why and how to make a History of the Reformation in Brazil, pointing out paths that pass through one of the greatest historians of Protestantism in Brazil who was Emile G. Leonard and one of the greatest interpreters of the Reformation in the present day that is Alister Mcgrath.
