Abstract

The essay proposes a research procedure so that we can study the communication in all its forms, be it electronics, mass or interpersonal. To this goal, it suggests three stages of the investigation process characterized by experience the communicative fact, observe its reverberations on the one who experiences and work out from there a consistent report that will serve to give substance to the epistemological needs of the area. It takes distance from studies of cognitive science and so-called "reception research" to seek a philosophical and qualitative component in the communication experience.

Bacharel em Ciências Sociais e Jornalismo (USP/SP), doutor pela Universidade de Frankfurt (Alemanha), pós-doutor pela Universidade Stendhal de Grenoble (França), titular da Cátedra UNESCO José Reis de Divulgação Científica, Livre-docente (USP).  Professor da ECA-USP e coordena o FiloCom - Núcleo de Estudos Filosóficos da Comunicação.
