Abstract

Growth and development are concepts often used interchangeably. However, growth refers to the increase in the size or quantity of cells and development, on the other hand, it has a broader concept, it can be considered from a physical, social, emotional, motor and cognitive perspective. Measuring development involves understanding what its concept implies, sensitivity to understand its breadth and coherence with the population studied. The aim of this text is to reflect on the evidence between physical activity among preschoolers and the gaps that still exist.
