Revisão integrativa: características, resultados e limitações de intervenções em saúde mental para universitários

Ao ingressar no ensino superior, o jovem vivencia mudanças em sua rotina, como necessidade de adaptações que podem contribuir para o sofrimento psíquico, frente a isso, diferentes intervenções são ofertadas para promoção e prevenção em saúde mental. Esta revisão integrativa teve como objetivo identificar características, resultados e limitações de intervenções em saúde mental para universitários. Realizou-se uma busca nas bases de dados SCIELO, LILACS e MEDLINE, utilizando os descritores “saúde mental”, "estudantes", “universidade”, “intervenção” “mental health”, “students”, “university” e “intervention. No total 1174 artigos foram encontrados e 45 estudos foram incluídos na revisão. Os resultados demonstraram que os construtos mais abordados foram a depressão, ansiedade, estresse e saúde mental. O formato mais frequente foi o presencial. O referencial teórico mais utilizado foi a terapia cognitivo-comportamental. O desenho de estudo mais recorrente foi o ensaio clínico randomizado. Entre as intervenções 89% apresentaram resultados positivos. As limitações foram o número reduzido de participantes, falta de acompanhamento ou o acompanhamento breve da eficácia das intervenções, predominância de amostra feminina, falta grupo controle, utilização de amostra por conveniência e não adesão ou abandono das intervenções. Considera-se que esses resultados trouxeram subsídios para elaboração de novas intervenções em saúde mental para universitários.
