HISTÓRIA E PERSPECTIVA NA PRESERVAÇÃO DA INFORMAÇÃO

Abstract

The present work has as main object of analysis The Public Archive of The State of Espírito Santo- APEES. It addresses the history of the archive and its process of preservation and access to the institution’s document management. Considering that memory is a public good and capital importance for the construction of truth and history, this article, through a bibliographic review, emphasizes that access to information is responsible for modifying action of the individual in society, as well as seeking to analyze access to public information transmitted by an archive, its preservation and conservation process and full access to the collection.
