Abstract

This article presents, in a didactic manner, irrational values of trigonometric functions obtained at angles other than the usual special angles, that is, angles that rarely appear in school textbooks. Unlike traditional approaches based on plane geometry, the proposed approach uses complex numbers and a representation of $\cos \theta$, from which we obtain infinitely many irrational trigonometric numbers. To enrich the geometric visualization of these concepts and facilitate understanding, we incorporate dynamic illustrations developed using GeoGebra and Manim (via Python). As a practical contribution, the paper proposes a teaching sequence, ideal for teachers to implement and for students to explore in the classroom.
