Resumo

Este artigo discute o "novo estágio" contemporâneo dos estudos de Fanon com foco nas interconexões entre os escritos clínicos de Fanon e a política. A ideia de Fanon de que a revolução anticolonial deve afirmar uma "humanidade ilimitada" e, ao mesmo tempo, insistir que a psiquiatria política é considerada por meio de seu envolvimento com François Tosquelles e a socioterapia. Nigel C. Gibson, Rhodes University

Nigel C. Gibson teaches at Emerson College in Boston and is an Honorary Professor at the Unit of the Humanities at Rhodes University, South Africa.
